Father Loop grew up as an Anglican in Idaho Falls, ID. He converted to Catholicism while attending the University of Dallas where he earned a BA with Honors in Political Philosophy. He entered St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary and was ordained on the 27th of June. While pastor at Our Lady of Fatima in Portland OR, he taught at St. Thomas Becket School in Veneta, OR. In 2016 he was transferred to Immaculate Conception Academy where he served as principal. Now stationed in St. Mary’s, Father will be teaching Philosophy in the College as well as parish priest.
