Fr. Paul Franks teaches courses in the philosophy of nature and Apologetics. He was ordained to the priesthood at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Minnesota in 2016. After his ordination he was appointed to St. Mary’s College and has been here ever since.
Prior to entering the Seminary, Father studied music and worked as a musician and teacher. He attended the University of Manchester and the Royal Northern College of Music where he studied on the prestigious Joint Course “intended for students with outstanding practical and academic ability,” earning a MusB and GRNCM at undergraduate level in Composition and Academic Music. He went on to earn a Master’s degree (MMus) in composition from the Royal Northern College of Music.
