In 2013, Beth Gerads died unexpectedly while a freshman at St. Mary’s College. A scholarship was established by the family as a memorial for her virtues and love of the College, to be awarded to students in the 3rd and 4th years of our program that best exemplify that same SMC spirit. Students were nominated by faculty and staff, with the final review being made by the president of the College. This year’s winners were Michael G. and Loretta L. Both will receive $1000/year for their remaining two years.
