DESCRIPTION:The College will present the Requiem composed by Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924)\, Friday and Saturday\, March 25 & 26 at 7:00pm\, Sunday\, March 27 at 2:00pm in McCabe theater. Described by the composer as “a lullaby of death\,” the music has a serene rather than severe character\, and sets only part of the full requiem text. Originally scored for full orchestra and organ\, the College will present an arrangement for chorus\, organ\, and solo violin.
