As young zealous Catholics here at SMC we are learning the importance of defending our faith and morals. In the current climate of our country, it is most important to defend this faith and especially our morals both publicly as well as privately. It is our civic duty to help pass laws that are moral by voting for people that we know will do this. With this in mind a group of about 20 students and our college chaplain, Fr. Gardner attended a local pro-life rally, supporting a new pro-life bill that is being introduced at the state capital, in Topeka, KS. It was a great experience and a good way to show our support for these pro-life movements within our community!
